Trent Sisley Commits to Indiana Hoosiers: A Promising Addition from Montverde Academy :

Trent Sisley, a top-100 recruit in the 2025 class, has officially committed to the Indiana Hoosiers, marking a significant boost for the program. Hailing from Heritage Hills, Sisley transferred to Montverde Academy this summer, a school renowned for developing elite athletes. His commitment also signifies Mike Woodson’s first in-state recruit from a high school class since he returned to Indiana.

As a four-star prospect, Sisley brings impressive stretch-forward skills that align with the versatile, two-way big men Woodson has successfully cultivated. This commitment continues the trend of Montverde graduates joining the Hoosiers, strengthening Indiana’s recruiting efforts and future potential. With his ability to contribute on both ends of the court, Sisley is set to be a valuable addition to the team.

At Montverde, he trains against top-tier talent daily. Although Cooper Flagg has moved on to Duke, Sisley will still compete with notable players like Mozi Masley, Hudson Greer (Creighton), Dante Allen, Kayden Allen, Caleb Gaskins, and Gabe Weiss. These daily challenges are expected to elevate Sisley’s game.

During the spring and summer, Sisley teamed up with Braylon Mullins and Malachi Moreno to lead Indiana Elite to an undefeated record. This talented trio reached the adidas 3SSB title game, narrowly losing to the Utah Prospects. Throughout this journey, Sisley’s versatility shone, as he excelled in three-point shooting, attacking the basket, defending multiple positions, and consistently playing with intensity.

Despite playing just three years, Sisley holds the Heritage Hills High School records for points and rebounds. Leaving behind a school where his brother Blake thrived and his father Matt coached was not a decision made lightly, but Trent and his family felt that transferring to the powerhouse Montverde Academy was the best step for his future.

In the Nike EYBL Scholastic league, Sisley will compete against high-major talent in every game, gaining experience similar to the college level while managing a college-like routine of classes, travel, and practice, which should facilitate a smooth transition to Indiana.
